Don't do what we did and miss the bar with all the taco toppings! These sauces and garnishes totally make the tacos and we messed up badly by passing this up the first time there. Do as we say and not as we do!

Mexico City is also famous for their churros and Churreria el Morro did not disappoint! The churros were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were also some of the biggest churros we’ve ever seen in our lives.

Churreria el Morro did not disappoint!

Mexico City is famous for their al pastor tacos and El Tizoncito did not disappoint. The pork was cooked to perfection and the tacos were some of the best we had in Mexico City. Be sure to get a horchata made fresh to accompany those deliciously salty tacos, too!

This place is world-famous for their conchas (a type of sweet bread). But they also have some of the best savory dishes too. We had the fig doughnut, and it was out of this world!

If you visit, be sure to go early in the morning and be ready to wait in line. It's a small little street vendor that appears in the morning and breaks down each afternoon. It'd be easy to walk right by if there wasn't a long line waiting for these delicious, traditional Mexican breakfast sandwiches. Locals and tourists alike love them since they're full of flavor and easy to eat on the way to work.

Okay, don't judge this one by the photo above, because trust me, it's delicious! This place is famous for its huge "machetes or otherwise known as quesadillas. They’re loaded with cheese and your choice of meat. We went for the chicken and it did not disappoint...and they are huge.
